聽歌是一種很直覺的感受，不同人會有不同喜好。而人在不同狀態時也會有不同的偏好選擇，有會有那種平常不會聽，但在某種狀態就特別想聽的的歌。這一點隨著時間人似乎就會漸漸了解，慢慢的累積出這樣的歌單。

Leonard Cohen 的 In My Secret Life 對我來說就是這樣一首功能限定的歌曲。當想寫或是必須寫些甚麼東西的時候，很快的帶我到進入一個安靜的寫作狀態。一整夜都聽著這首歌不會覺得厭煩。

或許每個人都會有自己的 My Secret Songs List。這個歌單裡的每一首歌都有自己的意義或功能，像魔法一樣一旦吟唱就會發揮作用。
